BN Papéis was founded on the ideology of recycling which, in itself, is already a great benefit for the environment. However, the company does its part preserving the environment in which we live. Consistency with philosophy is also demonstrated through the work of raising people’s awareness, with continuous training for our employees and with practical actions.
Environmental Responsibility
The environment in which we live is taken very seriously by BN Papers, because our survival comes from it and the survival of the environment depends on us. The company works extensively to raise people’s awareness, emphasizing that water can and should be reused. It has its high performance water circuit, capturing and returning an average of 15,000 liters per hour to the river, an extremely low number at national and world level for paper production.
Sustainability
BN Papéis treats the environment with respect, recovering riparian forest and reforesting the company’s surroundings with native trees. Concerned about the future, it carefully handles the available water resources. The Company carries out social work in several areas together with the community. We partner with firefighters and form our own fire brigade. Students, employees and the community in general always find the doors open to discover the Company.
